Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to have the privilege to host the Sixth ICGEB Workshop on Human RNA Viruses, Oct. 26-28, 2018, Shanghai, China, co-organized by the International Center of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB).
The ICGEB Workshop on Human RNA Viruses will offer a platform for updates in prophylaxis and control of outbreaks of these infectious diseases, and explore novel strategies of vaccine development, basic virology and host responses by renowned experts, scientists, clinicians, graduate students or individuals from ICGEB member states. The academic exchanges between basic scientists, clinicians, administrative officers and individuals from industry may result in productive collaboration and quick translation of new vaccines or therapeutics from laboratories to clinical application, and will advance our understanding of molecular virology, transmission, immunologic responses and disease progression.
As the chairman of the symposium, I look forward to welcoming you in late autumn in Shanghai, the largest and most dynamic city in China.
